In member countries of the European Community: develop and improve education in agronomy; promote mutual recognition of qualifications; facilitate student and staff exchanges; encourage cooperation between agronomic education and the professional world; develop decentralized and continuing education, specialized networks, relations with countries outside the Community - particularly those of Eastern Europe and developing countries, the study of a language other than the mother tongue and intercultural exchanges.
