Comprised of representatives of Governmental HIV/AIDS Control and Prevention Programmes. Pro Tempore rotating secretariat for one year, with possible extension of another year. Sub-regional rotating coordinators represent different areas of the region: Argentina (MERCOSUL); Venezuela (Andean Region); El Salvador (Central America); Dominican Republic (Caribbean). The Technical Secretariat and Sub-Regional Coordinators jointly establish the workplan for one year.
