Highlight and respond to the specific needs of mobile populations with regard to HIV/AIDS and sexually-transmitted diseases (STD) education and prevention programmes; facilitate and encourage collaboration and exchange among non-governmental, community-based and governmental organizations by providing resources and a network for the exchange of experiences, expertise, views and concerns.
