The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) precinct in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Designed as a “city within a city”, this 40-hectare (100-acre) site offers a stimulating environment within which one may work live, shop, visit and enjoy life.

The Centre was conceptually designed by Neuroformation Architects Malaysia and the Cox Group of Architects and Planners from Australia. Subsequent to Sunway Construction being awarded the Design and Build Contract, Akitek jururancang (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was engaged as their Design and Build Architect and given the challenging task to develop, enhance and bring these conceptual designs to life and fruition. The Centre is purpose-built for international, regional and local conventions, trade shows, public exhibitions, entertainment as well as weddings and private functions.

The facilities are supported by some of the most advanced technologies available. Data networking, structured cabling, wireless LAN, 3G telecommunication and digital audiovisual facilities allow delegates to access information on demand and stay connected with their home base. All spaces, whether for meetings or exhibits, are column-free and have moveable soundproof panels which afford flexible space for all types of events.

It's not just the hi-tech facilities that are setting a new benchmark for convention service in Malaysia, the in-house dedicated team of technical staff is always at hand to help make the most of the technology. In addition, the Chef and catering team ensure exceptional banquets featuring the best of local and international cuisine. Spectacular views of KLCC Park complete the sense of occasion at this prestigious venue.
