For the 18th European Night of Museums on Saturday 13 May 2023, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (France) will open its doors from 6:00 pm to midnight.
An occasion to discover its rich architectural and artistic heritage, as well as a series of cultural activities dedicated to Africa. An artistic performance mixing electronic music and lighting will take place in the second half of the evening, with Michael Canitrot as guest of honor.
The event is free and no reservation is required.

UNESCO will celebrate the International Day for Universal Access to Information in Tashkent with a global conference dedicated to artificial intelligence, e-governance and access to information.
This event is a continuation of recent activities on the subject such as the Forum on Artificial Intelligence recently organized in southern Africa, and will serve as a preparatory stage for the Global Forum on AI scheduled for December in Prague.

When setting up an event, relying on familiar, successful concepts is easy. While comfortable, going off the beaten track is worth making your event more valuable to all stakeholders. The City of The Hague and many of the city’s event venues have embraced the Event Canvas methodology for this purpose. An approach that helps event owners clearly define the purpose of their event and that of their stakeholders involved.

The General Assembly of the International Aviation Association (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, FAI) will be held in Vantaa, Finland in October 2025.
The General Assembly was last held in Finland in 1969. Approximately 150 participants are expected to attend the meeting.

The MICE industry is one of the many contributors to environmental degradation. The air and ground travel that bring visitors to MICE events around the world contributes to carbon emissions, while the waste generated at MICE events is another major pollution factor. Recognizing these issues and understanding the need for sustainability, Busan and the BTO CVB are striving to operate MICE events in ways that align with ESG management principles.

In 2024, the Busan Convention Bureau (BTO CVB) actively promoted Busan as a premier MICE destination at several major industry events, including ITB Asia 2024 in Singapore, IBTM World 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, and the “2024 Meet Busan in Thailand” event in Bangkok.

From October 22 to 25, the 27th IAVE World Volunteer Conference was held in Busan under the theme “People Power: Creating a Sustainable Future through Volunteering.” The event brought together volunteers from 80 countries to highlight the importance and value of volunteer work. Divided into multiple sessions, the conference addressed key social issues such as climate change, education, and inequality, with participants sharing their experiences.
