title:The Nordic Congress of General Practice 2024 was held in Turku, Finland

The 23rd Nordic Congress of General Practice (NCGP) gathered over 1000 general practitioners, researchers, and educators from all over the world.

Rotating between Nordic countries every two years, the NCGP Congress was held in Turku from the 11th to the 14th of June, 2024. The congress brought together medical professionals to discuss the latest research in general practice, focusing particularly on the values and challenges of Nordic healthcare. The event saw 1,074 delegates from 21 countries.

title:ECER Conference comes to Tampere, Finland in 2026

The annual European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) will be held in Tampere in August 2026. The event will gather some 2,500 international researchers and experts to discuss education during a time of multi-crisis.

The ECER Conference is the largest education research conference in Europe, and it will be held in Tampere on 17-21 August 2026. The conference will be arranged by the European Educational Research Association EERA together with Tampere University’s Faculty of Education and Culture (EDU) and the City of Tampere.
