The Canadian ' Librarians and Information Specialists in Addictions (LISA)' merged with SALIS, 1986. H-XD3421 - European Association of Libraries and Information Services on Addictions (ELISAD) merged into SALIS, 2013-2014.
Promote dissemination of knowledge and objective, accurate information about the use and consequences of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; provide a communications network for those working in the ATOD field; encourage cooperation and linkages among members and libraries/information centers; serve as an advocate for members on matters of common interest; support professional development through training programs.
