Existed as an unnamed informal association of English speaking Auditors General (1998-2004), together with Southern African Development Cooperation of Supreme Audit Institutions (SADCOSAI). Formally set up when SADCOSAI was incorporated into AFROSAI-E. An English language subgroup of D-XD6433 - African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI). Statutes amended: 10 May 2013; 19 May 2021.
Cooperate with and support member SAIs to enhance their institutional capacity to successfully fulfil their audit mandates, thereby making a difference to the lives of citizens.
