History
Originating from a symposium, held 2007, Vienna (Austria), with subsequent symposiums held 2008, Vienna and 2009, Krems (Austria), when Krems Declaration was reached. Krems Protocol signed Jan 2010, Krems (Austria). Current title adopted when membership expanded beyond Europe.
Aims
Promote cooperation among universities and educational institutes offering academic accreditation for Waldorf teacher education programmes to strengthen their position in educational policy making; support other Waldorf education programs which are working to achieve academic accreditation.
