History

Set up 2004, as a part of D-XE2961 - Covered Bond and Mortgage Council (CBMC). Ceased to exist, when merged with EMF, Jun 2014, which replaced EMF and ECBC as the legal name under which both entities operate, but in practice both brands are maintained and used for identification.

Aims

Represent and promote the interests of covered bond market participants at the international level.
