Founded 2006, following symposium on African Theatre and Women at Goldsmiths, University of London (UK).

Aims

Encourage the highest level of scholarship in the study and practice of African performance and theatre; provide information on African performance and theatre to the wider public; serve as a bridge between African theatre practices and scholarship in Africa and the African Diaspora by bringing academics and theatre-makers together.
