History
Set up at 3rd International Conference on Democracy and Human Rights, 2008, Cairo (Egypt), organized by Egyptian National Council for Human Rights and B-XB3383 - UNESCO. Full title: Permanent Forum of Arab-African Dialogue on Democracy and Human Rights -- Forum Permanent de Dialogue Arabo-Africain sur la Démocratie et les Droits Humains. No activities reported since 2009.
Aims
Provide a sustainable, structured partnership between Africa and the Arab region based on concerted decisions on the issues of democracy and human rights.
