Founded 19 Mar 1963, Mexico City (Mexico), as complement to Resolution 58 of F-XD1066 - Inter-American Conference on Social Security (ICSS), adopted at 6th meeting of CISS, 1960, Mexico City. CIESS is the educational, training and research body of the Inter-American Conference on Social Security.
As the educational, teaching and research organ of CISS, contribute to the strengthening of Inter-American social security institutions.
