Aims

Promote and foster the growth and development of travel, tourism and transport to the African continent in association with the individual African countries, tour and ground operators, incentive, meeting, and convention planners, travel agents, airlines, hoteliers, and all other branches of the travel and leisure industry represented in the Association; develop and sponsor public interest in travel and tourism to Africa.

Activities

Provides forums for membership to present their respective products and services. Collects, compiles and publishes information of interest on travel and tourism for and about Africa. Assists membership in practical methods and techniques of marketing and promotion. Plans and implements (annually) an International Congress on African Tourism. Implements, concurrently with the Congress, an annual International Trade Fair. Sponsors an Awards Program. Sponsors monthly chapter meetings.
