1915. Formerly known as International Association for Criminal Identification. Since Jun 1980, subcommittee was formed, known as International Association for Identification, Voice Identification and Acoustic Analysis. Latter was previously known as International Association of Voice Identification (IAVI).
As the world's largest forensic science association, represent 13 forensic science disciplines by speaking for forensic sciences on a national and international level.
