Commemorate the ideals and concerns of former US President Woodrow Wilson by providing a link between the world of ideas and the world of policy and by fostering research, study, dialogue and collaboration among individuals concerned with policy and scholarship in national and world affairs, with emphasis on the following themes: issues of national and global governance; the role of the USA in the world; future challenges for the USA and the world; the historical context of public policy issues.
