Represent and defend the interest of baton twirling and of member federations; promote and develop baton twirling on the European continent and affiliated countries; safeguard social and ethical principles of sport as they are formulated in the Olympic Charter; elaborate and realize projects in cooperation and partnership with member federations; support member federations where baton twirling is insufficiently developed through promotional programmes and assistance; support and promote initiatives of member federations; cooperate with international sports institutions and organizations; exchange opinions, experiences and information between member federations; organize European championships.

General Assembly (annual, during Congress). Administrative Council is elected every 4 years and meets twice a year in the country where the Championship or European Clubs Cup is organized. Technical Committee of 4 members; Audit and Finance Committee of 3 members; Commissions.
