1 Jan 1974, London (UK), taking over the functions of H-XH5193 - Committee of European Shipowners, and of H-XH5020 - Committee of European National Shipowners' Associations. Ceased to exist when superseded by Shipping Policy Committee of C-XC1492 - International Chamber of Shipping (ICS).
Aims
Promote and protect sound shipping policies in all sectors of shipping; coordinate and present the views of members; exchange views with other shipowner groups.
