3 Nov 1949, Sofia (Bulgaria). Ceased to exist, 1996, on merging with Trade Unions International of Agricultural, Forestry and Plantation Workers (TUIAFPW), Trade Unions International of Workers in Commerce (UISTC) and Trade Unions International of Workers in Textile, Clothing, Leather, Shoe and Allied Industries to create Trade Unions International of Agriculture, Food, Commerce, Textile and Allied Industries (UISTAACT).

Coordinate trade union action; organize meetings on professional issues.
