Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA)
Established 3 Jun 2008, as an independent research institute based on formal agreement by 16 Heads of East Asia Summit countries during 3rd East Asia Summit (EAS), 21 Nov 2007, Singapore (Singapore). Since 30 Dec 2008, status of international organization based in Jakarta (Indonesia), following formal agreement reached between government of Indonesia and ASEAN Secretariat.
Provide innovative and analytical research and policy recommendations on deepening economic integration, narrowing development gaps and achieving sustainable development in ASEAN and East Asia.
