Knights of St John International (KSJ)
6 May 1886, organized as a semi-military fraternal organization incorporated by a special act of the legislature of the State of New York (USA), under the name of Roman Catholic Union of the Knights of St John. Modified to current name 20 Feb 1896.
As a society of Catholic laymen: create and foster a feeling of fraternity among members to improve their moral, mental and social condition; assist and support members and their families in case of want, sickness or death; promote the welfare of the Catholic religion.
