Founded 1966, as a continental federation of B-XB2460 - International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). Constitution amended at General Assembly, 17 Sep 1991, Beijing (China).
Promote and guide the sound development of Olympic shooting sports throughout Asia; conduct communications among national shooting associations for exchange of ideas on development and perfection of the sport of shooting under the supervision of ISSF.
