History
1979, by Resolution 8/79 of the 20th session of the Conference of B-XB0971 - FAO, as a technical commission of the FAO, by Article XV-1 of the Constitution. Was based at E-XE9659 - FAO Regional Office for Africa (FAO/RAF). Abolished 1997.
Aims
Advise on policies to be adopted in planning and execution of the Programme for the Control of African Animal Trypanosomiasis and Related Development; appraise progress reports on the implementation and development of the Programme; review annual action plans; advise, as appropriate, on the use of trust funds.
