History

within the framework of D-XD0696 - Conférence européenne des administrations des postes et des télécommunications (CEPT), under the CEPT Arrangement of 7 Sep 1992. Previously also referred to in French as Comité européen de réglementation postale.

Aims

Consider postal regulatory affairs in a European context, taking into account the current changes in the borderlines between regulatory aspects and operational aspects in this domain; assess the influence of international regulatory policies and establish contacts with the European Commission regarding postal regulatory issues in order to develop a common approach to these issues; establish and develop relations with relevant bodies concerned with postal regulation issues; develop proposals and recommendations.
