1955. Registered 1963 at the Court of Registry, The Hague (Netherlands), as International Ship Suppliers Association. Sometimes referred to unofficially in French as Association international des approvisionneurs de navires.
Promote the economic interests of ship suppliers; promote contacts with and discussion among organizations of ship suppliers concerning questions of common interest; establish contact on an international level with organizations of shipowners concerning their relationship with ship suppliers; represent ship suppliers on an international level.
