History
1970, Teheran (Iran Islamic Rep), by educational authorities of Iran Islamic Rep, Pakistan and Turkey, under the auspices of the then H-XH0290 - Regional Cooperation for Development (RCD), currently D-XD3153 - Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Dissolved 1984. Subsequently revived as H-XE2093 - ECO College of Insurance (ECOI).

Evolve suitable means for education and research in the field of insurance and its related economic, legal and managerial aspects; expand cooperation through such education and research.
