Aims

Promote the interests of the manufacturers of wire and wire products in Europe; exchange market research information on wire and wire products; safeguard common interests vis-à-vis national governments and the European Commission as well as other political and non-political institutions; represent its members to the scientific and technical organizations which deal directly or indirectly with problems relating to wire and wire products; discuss questions of overall interest to the whole wire industry.
