Founded 1925, as World Association of Detectives. Merged in 1950 with H-XH0013 - International Secret Service Association, formed in 1921, when it adopted the title: World Secret Service Association. Present name adopted 1966. US non-profit corporation.
Promote and maintain the highest ethical practices in the profession; foster and perpetuate a spirit of cooperation among members and similar organizations; endeavour to establish and further mutual feelings of trust, goodwill and friendship among agencies throughout the free world.
