1854, by Blessed Marie-Thérèse de Soubiran La Louvière. Became a congregation of pontifical right in 1901. Final approval received from Rome (Italy) in 1924. Also referred to as Soeurs de Marie-Auxiliatrice.
Provide education; help handicapped children; maintain young working people's hostel; offer catechetics, pastoral work and social work for the less privileged.
