European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF)
Founded as the European geographical zone of U-XE2227 - World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA). Statutes originally adopted on 31 Mar 1979, 's Hertogenbosch (Netherlands). Currently a zone of B-XB6056 - World Bowling.
Encourage the development of tenpin bowling throughout the ETBF geographical area; support and encourage national organizations in their efforts to develop and promote tenpin bowling; conduct European tenpin bowling championships for adult and youth members; promote international competition; contribute to the development of tenpin bowling worldwide; support the efforts to get tenpin bowling accepted as a fully recognized athletic competition in the Olympic Games.
