Constitution and By-Laws adopted at 2nd Congress, 1958, Manila (Philippines). Constitution modified: 1960; 1967; 1970; 1974. Since Annual World Dental Congress, 1967, Paris (France), admitted as regional organization of A-XA1788 - FDI - World Dental Federation, with listed title. Also referred to as as Asian Pacific Regional Organization (APRO) -- Organisation régionale Asie Pacifique (ORAP). Previously also referred to as Asian Pacific Dental Federation.
Establish closer relations among dental associations in Asian and Pacific countries; further progress in the field of dental and allied sciences; encourage exchange of information and research to improve dental and general health of the region; carry out other functions as may be assigned by FDI.
