History
Jun 2001, following a proposal of D-XD0435 - Council of Europe (CE), as an informal network consisting of National Focal Points (NFPs) in all 27 EU member States. Ceased to exist 2007.
Aims
Establish a closer dialogue between EU Member States and the EUMC; facilitate the exchange of useful information, experience and good practice; improve cooperation at European level by bringing together key players from governments, civil society and NGOs.
