24 Jun 1967, Oslo (Norway). Formerly known as European Contact Group of Sales and Marketing Associations. Ceased to exist, Jan 1993, when replaced by D-XD3774 - European Marketing Confederation (EMC).
Aims
Serve as a medium of communication among member encouraging and facilitating the flow of information between them on all subject matters, services and data relating to marketing and marketing management; act as a clearing-house for exchange of information and experience in marketing association activities; coordinate members' activities of an international nature; gather and generate ideas for activities and research on matters relating to marketing and marketing management.
