14-19 Aug 1982, Tripoli (Libyan AJ), at 2nd Conference of the Islamic Call organized by H-XD1590 - World Islamic Call Society (WICS). Comes within the framework of WICS, although legally independent from it. Also referred to as: World Islamic Call Council (WICC) -- Conseil mondial de l'appel islamique; World Council of Islamic Da'wah (WOCID).
Aims
Facilitate world Islamic work in the field of the Islamic Call.
Structure
Council (meeting at least once a year) comprises 36 members chosen from the General Conference of the Islamic Call, of which it functions as Executive Council.
