Founded by R-XR1677 - Society of Jesus (SJ), as 'Centre documentaire catéchétique'. Transferred to Brussels (Belgium) and present name adopted 1946. Statutes amended: 19 Feb 1955; 13 Mar 1969; 16 May 1974; 21 Apr 2004.

Contribute methodically to the progress of religious education and religious psychology worldwide, at all levels from early childhood to adult.
