History
Founded as an autonomous trust, on the initiative of H-XD8095 - Asociación Latinoamericana de Organizaciones de Promoción (ALOP).
Aims
Provide technical and financial services to financial entities working with excluded social sectors in the region and which have no access to conventional financial schemes; contribute to their institutional consolidation and modernization; operate regional mechanisms that efficiently channel resources to these entities; create a flexible system of communication, exchange of experience, training, technical assistance and other ways of mobilizing institutional resources; create and generate in Latin American countries efficient and differentiated systems capable of operating in the open financial market while attending to local needs; establish strategic alliances with civil society organizations so as to exert effective influence concerning cooperation policies and mobilize resources towards Latin American NGOs.
