Manage the EFTA side of the EEA Agreement; act as a forum for coordinating the positions of EFTA/EEA States on all EEA-related matters.

Normally meets in Brussels (Belgium) and comprises government representatives of EFTA countries (one vote per country) who also represent their countries within the E-XE1724 - EEA Joint Committee. May also meet at ministerial level. Switzerland has observer status, which also can be issued to the E-XE3052 - EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA). Consultative bodies: the E-XE2527 - Committee of Members of Parliament of the EFTA States Party to the EEA (EFTA MPS); EFTA Consultative Committee (CC). Subcommittees (5); Working Groups. Secretariat provided by EFTA Secretariat in Brussels.
