Promote knowledge and stimulate study of bone and cartilage structure, metabolism and function in health and disease; serve as interdisciplinary link for periodic meetings concerned with clinical and theoretical research in the field of osteoarthrology, bringing together clinical, laboratory, theoretical and professional research workers from medical and non-medical disciplines.
