Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO)
Founded 2006, Victoria (Canada), following a proposal during a joint conference organized by European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH) and Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH), Tübingen (Germany), 2002. Registered in the Netherlands as a foundation.
Promote and support digital research and teaching across arts and humanities disciplines, drawing together humanists engaged in digital and computer-assisted research, teaching, creation, dissemination and beyond; support initiatives for publication, presentation, collaboration and training; recognize and support excellence in these endeavours; act as an community-based consultative and advisory force.
