as a series of meetings of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the countries of H-XF2447 - Permanent Mechanism for Consultation and Political Coordination (Rio Group) and F-XF2147 - European Union (EU). Set up in accordance with the Rome Declaration -- Declaración de Rome in which the two groups of countries agreed to institutionalize their political dialogue and take joint action towards inter-regional cooperation. Met for the last time, 14 May 2009, Prague (Czech Rep). Rio Group was replaced by E-XJ5092 - Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC), 2012.
