1965, Huntington NY (USA), as Friends World Institute -- Institut mondial des amis -- Instituto Mundial de los Amigos -- Welt-Institut der Freunden, under the auspices of the USA Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Subsequently referred to as Friends World College and as Friends World Program (FWP). Current title adopted 2007. International administration of Quaker organizations previously through E-XC0983 - Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC). Affiliated with Long Island University (USA), 1991.
Aims
Develop well-educated world citizens, from all nationalities and from all social classes, who participate in an undergraduate liberal arts programme.
