The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).


1963, by Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM). Came within the framework of Nordic Cultural Cooperation. Latest statutes adopted 5 Dec 2000. Ceased to exist 31 Dec 2006.


Give economic support to musical cooperation (covers the whole area of Nordic musical life, both professional and amateur) within the five Nordic countries.

Official advisory body to Nordic national authorities in questions of Nordic cooperation in the music field. Supports or manages various joint enterprises such as commissions, festivals of contemporary music, presentations of and tours by professional and amateur music groups and soloists. Takes initiatives to new projects in the field of Nordic music cooperation. NOMUS also acts as Adjudicating Committee for the Nordic Council's Music Prize, set up 1965, whose statutes and procedures were decided by the Nordic Governments, in the framework of Nordic Council (NC).
