Established within the framework of F-XF0847 - European Economic Area (EEA), on entry into force of the EEA Agreement.
Maintain homogeneity of the European Economic Area by incorporating relevant EEA legislation into the EEA Agreement.

Committee meets 7 to 8 times a year and comprises high officials from the European External Action Service, from the 3 EFTA EEA countries and from EU Member States. The Committee is assisted by 5 subcommittees: I. Free Movement of Goods; II. Free Movement of Capital and Services; III. Free Movement of Persons; IV. Flanking and Horizontal Policies; V. Legal and Institutional Matters.
