Nov 2001, by former members of F-XF0667 - European Parliament (EP). Registered in accordance with Belgian law, 25 Oct 2001.

Aims

Bring former members together and provide a forum for meetings, discussions and cultural, scientific and social events; facilitate exchange of information and news between former members of the European Parliament; foster relations between former and current members of the European Parliament by establishing and using an information network; use the experience of former members to strengthen parliamentary democracy and to serve European unity; promote contacts between similar organizations in Europe and elsewhere, including former members' associations of national parliaments; promote debate on development of the European Union in the political field as well as in public opinion and to study its consequences for institutions, local authorities and citizens.

General Assembly (annual). Board of 10 members, including President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. Foundation for Parliamentary Democracy is a registered charitable organization which raises funds for FMA activities.
