19 Mar 1970, as Confédération des détaillants en volaille et gibier des pays de la CEE – Verband der Wild- und Geflügeleinzelhändler der EWG-Länder – Confederazione dei Rivenditori di Pollame e Selvaggina dei Paesi della CEE – Confederatie van Kleinhandelaren in Wild en Gevogelte in de EEG Landen – Samorganisationen af Detailhandlere inden for Vildt- og Fjerkraesektoren i EØF-Landene. Took over activities of U-XE3563 - EUWEP Committee on Poultry and Game. Subsequently changed German title to Europäischer Verband des Wild- und Geflügel-, Gross- und Aussenhandels and, in 2001, changed English title to European Poultry and Game Association (EPGA).
