General Fraternity, comprising the Prior and 3 Assistants who make up his Council. The brothers live in communities, in religious houses called 'fraternities'. These communities have different, though complementary, identities, according to the social contexts in which they are inserted, or the functions they fulfil. For each fraternity there is a brother in charge of a local community. Each Region, consisting of a group of fraternities which have a certain unity among them, is put under the charge of a brother known as the Regional.
