Represent livestock and meat traders of European countries; facilitate and increase trade in animals on the hoof and meat; examine and study problems arising for the livestock and meat trade and propose solutions; inform traders of regulations and decisions made by European and international authorities which affect livestock and meat trading; safeguard equality of conditions for competition and defend the commercial firm.
