Founded 18 Feb 1909, Los Angeles CA (USA), when the parent lodge was set up. Bombay (India) centre came into being in 1929.
Aims
Disseminate the fundamental principles of the philosophy of Theosophy, and their exemplification in practice, through truer realization of the SELF; form a nucleus of Universal Brotherhood of Humanity without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or colour; study ancient and modern religions, philosophies and sciences; investigate unexplained laws of nature and psychic powers latent in man.
