Select methods of analysis for food testing and, provided the testing is successful, release official methods in English (in Scandinavian languages and Finnish until 2022); elaborate guidelines and procedures to support quality assurance work in analytical food laboratories; guide and evaluate validation of proprietary alternative methods of analysis for issuing NordVal International certificates when approved; arrange courses and seminars to assist food laboratories and users of their services; serve as a forum for Nordic-Baltic and international exchange of information in the field of analysis of food, feed and environmental samples both for the industry, scientific and governmental disciplines.
