1993

History

1993, within the framework of R-XR4374 - Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta. Registered in accordance with Belgian law, 2002. Also known as International Emergency Corps of the Order of Malta -- Corpo Internazionale d'Emergenza dell'Ordine di Malta. No longer exists; replaced by G-XM1177 - Malteser International.

Aims

Create an international legal entity able to coordinate the potential capacity of its members in all emergency humanitarian aid, further reconstruction work and - in the case of foreseeable disasters - the prevention and elimination of consequences for potential victims.
